Little Man Pants

So what does a momma do when her small boy gets up at 4:30am on Sunday morning?? Sews him a pair of pants of course! This brown fabric came from the same giant bag of fabric as Sweet Pea's apple picking dress. It belonged to an older woman who was an avid sewer. She passed away and through a strange turn of events my sister ended up with it. She doesn't sew, so it's mine. I keep wondering what the mystery woman had in mind for the fabrics in the bag. Somehow I don't think a pair of toddler pants was on her mind, but you never know! I am happy to say that the bag of fabric got new life this morning and Jojo was stylin' at church this morning!

(yes, this is my kids lovely bathroom. Jojo only stands still in the morning for tooth brushing and his spiked hair do! )

And if you haven't tried to make pants before, you should! Simple ones with an elastic waist band for kids are pretty easy. MADE has a great tutorial. I sort of followed the tutorial to make these pants but cut my fabric on the fold so I only had to sew up the front and the inseam.
