I call them clippies. It's a clip. An alligator clip, a barrette, whatever. Everything is a clippy around here even if it's a bow or a rubber band or whatever.
I whipped this one up quick yesterday out of a piece of upholstery fabric that is supposed to be part of another project. (Sorry Bethany but you can always get more :) )) I loosely followed this tutorial from I Am Momma Hear Me Roar. And glued a cute brown bead in the center. I have been fussing with making clips and flowers a lot lately. Trying to find something a bit more grown up looking to put in my hair for some interest.
And now, I'm headed back to the YMCA. Surprise, surprise. We swim on Thursdays with some friends. Oh and this morning I took them both bowling!! Helps with the cabin fever!!!
OH and the small man with bedhead wanted in on the photo shoot too. Like his scratched up face. Nothing like sledding into a tree and having your sister hit you in the face with a shovel on the same day!!
LOVE THIS! I found you over at 30 days. Your kids are adorable too! Thanks for the great tutorial...maybe we will make one this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm following now as well! Come visit me if you want and check out my fairy wings tutorial!
